In our relationship journeys, we often develop certain interaction patterns. Some of these patterns, while perhaps effective in the short term for achieving immediate goals, may ultimately prove dysfunctional for the relationship’s long-term health.

Similar to an athlete who has developed improper technique, we may find that strategies that once seemed to work are now hindering our ability to function effectively as part of a team.
